Will a small serving of ice cream at night help you burn calories while you sleep or is that a total myth?

Will it burn more calories than the ice cream has in it atleast? Will a small serving of ice cream at night help you burn calories while you sleep or is that a total myth?
I read the question and thought oh she's falling for a misconception, then I read your detail and realized you already knew the answer. If you eat anything before your sleep your metabolism obviously responds, but not enough to ensure that none of the calories are stored. In other words, no, it won't burn more calories than the icecream has in it.Will a small serving of ice cream at night help you burn calories while you sleep or is that a total myth?
Thats a myth especially since your metabolism isn't as fast at night as it is during the day. You would be better off eating it anytime before 7pm. Also any type of sugar rush will stimulate your body to store fat.
Myth, depending on whether your body needs the calories or not, it could store it as fat or use it for fuel. It's a balancing game.
