Let me tell you one thing, your skin can't tell the time, so it doesn't really matter! I use night gels throughout the day and nothing happens.

friend, i think night creams provide intensive care and repair the damage done to the skin during the day and due to pollution,etc. whereas day creams r more inclined towards sun protection, which is not required while u sleep.
nothing will happen, usually the only difference between day creams and night creams is that night creams are usually heaver.

Worlds will not collide. The difference is this often day cream has a sunscreen in it. Night cream tends to be richer, thicker. Your make up may not set as well with the night cream.
