Does 24 y/o oily skin need night cream?

i read somewhere that after 30, the skin gets drier and mostly likely it is necessary to begin using night cream to keep the skin elastic and hydrated...so do i really need a night cream? is it for better or for worse? does it exacerbate acne prone/oily skin?Does 24 y/o oily skin need night cream?
You are right about your skin when you age the skin gets drier and that is when you need a night cream the most. Not just for drying but for aging and to maintain pore size. At night your skin is renewing itself and that is why we have night creams. There are Non-Comedogenic night creams out there that will not clog pores and will help the oilyness and acne. They will help in your favor. : )Does 24 y/o oily skin need night cream?
Oily skin does need to be moisturized, or else it will provide its own and get even more oily.

Even though you are only 24, it's only a few years before you'll notice those wonderful smile lines or crow's feet. It's better to prevent than to try and turn back the clock. Get yourself an oil free anti-aging lotion of some kind. Once those lines show up, it's hard to get them to improve short of cosmetic surgery or botox.
Best to take care of your skin early. They have creams for all skin types you just have to look.

Be sure to put sunscreen on your face uunder your make up everyday and when you get to your 30's your skin with thank you.
I would not use a night cream if I were you. It will only make your skin greasy. You should wash your face with Ivory soap and rinse it well and pat dry.
I have acne and skin is starting to dry out.

In the AM I use

1) Proactiv cleanser

2) Antibiotic topical solution I get by prescription

3) A moisturizer based on how dry my skin is. If it is really dry I use moisturel. If it is not dry I use lubrederm

At bedtime I use

1) Dove cleansing towels

2) Antibiotic topical soln

3) Proactiv repairing lotion (It bleaches fabric, so that is why I wear it at night and not in the day.
no
Try using a very mild soap ONLY and go real easy on makeup. Your skin will naturally improve in a couple weeks. You will become very oily and nasty in that time though.
you have to have a non-oily cream, or you will break out, us ebella pierre' s cream, or go to pharmacy and look for non-oily
No,forget the night cream. The best thing you can do for your complexion other than keeping your face clean, is to drink lots of water. Water keeps your skin hydrated from within and you will stay younger looking for a long time.

Another tip, do not put your hands on your face unless it is to wash it. Your hands have all kinds of bacteria on them, don't want that on your skin. And another thing, be careful about your boyfriends hair or skin touching your face. Acne prone skin can be triggered from even that. Wash face after cuddling. Is true.
I have very oily and sensitive skin. The only product that works for me is Proactive Solution.

I wouldn't recommend putting other creams on unless it is specifically for oil control.

Most creams will make your skin even more oily. That's only from my experience, everyone is different.

If you haven't seen changes in your skin for the worse, I wouldn't try anything that might cause a problem.

I just clean my face with the 3 Proactiv products and it works great for me.

Old saying ';If it ain't broke, then don't fix it';.

Good luck. :^)
You might want to put something under your eyes to prevent wrinkles, because there's no oil glands there. Other then that at your age with oily skin, you're better of keeping your pores clear so no, don't use a night cream.
no, but try to get into the habit of drinking lots of water, it will pay off over the years.
keeping your skin hydrated is always important. There are moisturizers specifically for your skin type. I REALLY recommend ';cetaphil'; lotions. They are great at moisturizing without causing breakouts.
you shouldnt unless you bake in the sun or have dry skin.
