Why is night cream more expensive than day cream?

your skin undergoes cell renewal when you sleep, so people take advantage of that and add ingredients that would benefit your skin more during that time, like alpha hydroxy acids, vitamin c, retinol, dmae, alpha lipoic acid, lactic acids, etc., which all make products more costly.





during the day, you don't need anything but a moisturizer and sunscreen.Why is night cream more expensive than day cream?
Day Cream is light texture. and day cream is usuall used to either: 1) Wear with make-up. So if you are wearing make-up you will want a light moisture so your pores dont clog.


2)Wear during the day. and you Skin is ment to breath during the day.


Night Cream is usuall used to repair the skin at night.it has more of a tick rich feeling when applied. hence being more expencive.


All so there is a bigger range of day creams on the market hence more competition.


Not as many night creams , hence can charge that little extra , caz there not that much choiceWhy is night cream more expensive than day cream?
night one is more effective and actually helps but it may dry your skin so the day cream mostly moisturizes and thats cheaper.
