Is It Okay if put on Night Cream But U can't sleep now? Please Answer!?

I have a really bad sleeping problem cause when I get paranoid or have a huge event coming up I just can't sleep....so i usually put on night creams (it's expensive) before i go to bed n now i can't sleep n i'm wearing it? Tell me if it's not going to be as effective or if it's okay...uffff i hate it when this happens to meIs It Okay if put on Night Cream But U can't sleep now? Please Answer!?
