In Scotland, After what time at night is an ice cream van not allowed to play their musical chimes?

Normally it's 11pm... But as far as i know this can be changed by the council if there are a lot of complaints about noise pollution..

There is a law that is meant to stop motorists from using their Car Horns after a certain time at night (7pm I believe ) The same rule should apply to Ice cream Vans.

It is illegal to sound their chimes after 8pm.

I always thought it was 9pm, same time as the watershed times for adult/explicit films coming on the tv screens,Citizen Advise will tell you ok and who to contact to put a stop to it, good luck.
11PM, the same as the rest of the UK %26amp; don't pay any attention to the people that say any other time. It's 11PM.
